Charles Carter is a managing director and portfolio manager at Ceredex Value Advisors, an affiliate of Virtus Investment Partners. His primary responsibilities include managing the Ceredex Small Cap Value Equity strategy.
Mr. Carter joined Ceredex’s predecessor firm in 2004. Previously, he was manager of investor relations at CNL Income Corp., a real estate holding company. He began his investment career at Credit Suisse First Boston as a sell-side equity research associate covering the media industry.
Mr. Carter earned a B.S. in management from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder since 2006.
